INVESTMENT INTO PET-FILLING LINE



Saku Brewery Ltd invested 23 m EEK in PET product filling

equipment to expand in plastic packaged beverage market.

Investment includes high-pressure air-compressor, blow-

moulding machine, monoblock rinser with filler and

capper, labelling machine, packaging machine with shrink

film heating tunnel and enlargement of a filling

department.

Capacity of the PET filling line is over 7000 bottles per

hour, what meets the company need.

There are filling equipment for bottles, can, keg and PET

in Saku Brewery.



Saku  Brewery  has  expanded on beverage  market  in  PET

products.  The  company entered last year into  kvas  and

lemonade  market and launched beer, ciders and  gin  long

drink in PET.



According   to   the   statistics  of  Estonian   Brewery

Association,  Saku  Brewery  is  the  market  leader   in

Estonian  beer market, accumulated market share  in  2003

was 43%.
