ABOUT COUNCIL'S OPINION ON OFFER



According to Estonian Securities Market Act, the  Council

of   Eesti  Telekom  will  at  the  latest  on  May   13,

2004  disclose  its  opinion  regarding  the  Cash  Offer

made by TeliaSonera.



There  has  been  some information in media,  that  Eesti

Telekom Board Members consider the TeliaSonera offer  too

low.  Policy of the Management Board of Eesti Telekom  is

not  to  comment  our share price nor to  comment  issues

concerning ownership questions.
