The  profit  of  bank  NORD/LB  in seven months of 2004 has reached 2.2

million  lats,  and  it is 2.3 times more than in the respective period

last  year. The assets of NORD/LB Latvija in the first seven months has

increased  by  34.6%  or  75.4  million  lats,  and  in the end of July

reaching 292.9 million lats.



The  loan  portfolio  of  NORD/LB  Latvija in the end of July was 233.8

million  lats,  and  it has increased by 49% or 76.9 million lats since

the  beginning  of  the year. The deposits attracted by NORD/LB Latvija

reached  129.3  million  lats in the end of July, and it is 38% or 35.8

million  lats  more  than in the beginning of the year. The capital and

reserves of NORD/LB Latvija on July 31, 2004 reached 24.2 million lats,

and it is 4% or one million lats more than on December 31, 2004.
