JSC  "Olainfarm"  turned  to JSC "Unibanka" with request to enlarge the

sum of credit previously issued for introduction of GMP for 800 000 Ls,

in order to carry out additional reconstruction. Aprpose of enlargement

of  sum  of credit it was necessary to introduce several alterations to

pledge contracts.

As   it  was  mentioned  before,  JSC  "Olainfarm"  have  received  GMP

certificate  on  20th  of  April  and  ceremonial  presentation  of new

large-scale   manufacture   which   corresponds   to  European  Union's

requirement  of quality production will take place on 30th July. Modern

technologies of pharmaceutical production and newest (released in 2004)

equipment  introduced will allow to optimize manufacturing expenses and

amplify  production  out-put  from  400  million to more then 1 billion

tablets  per year. Moreover, there is already active work done in order

to  start realization of products on new markets (new EU member states,

Africa,  Asia,  etc.),  where  demand  for company's products have been

observed already for a long time but where realization was not possible

because of lack of GMP certification.
