In  2003 "Strenču MRS" stopped producing sawn timber, hence the fall in

sales.  The  investment  made over 2003 amounted to LVL 212.5 thousand,

mainly  in  development of production and purchase of forest machinery;

an  increase   in  investment  may be expected in 2004. The preliminary

results may be subject to  adjustment after the approval of 2003 annual

report.
