Latvijas  Unibanka  Group,  a  part  of SEB group, has earned LVL 9.755

million  in  the  first  nine  months  of 2003 (LVL  3.523 in the third

quarter).  Compared  to the 9 months of the previous year, Unibanka net

profit has increased by 3.8%. ROE is 17.34%, while ROA is 1.74%.



In  the nine months of 2003 Unibanka has increased its share in deposit

market  from  12.1%  at  the end of 2002 to 12.6% in September of 2003.

Deposit  volume has reached LVL 461.560 million (+ LVL 11.419 million).

In  the  third  quarter the assets have increased by LVL 43.813 million

and  reached  LVL  813.727 at the end of September. The value of credit

portfolio has increased by 49.048 million in the third quarter, and was

LVL  628.265  million  at  the  end of the period. Capital and reserves

stood at LVL 79.562 on September 30, 2003.
