In  the  first nine months of 2003 JSC "Liepājs metalurgs" has produced

7%  more  steel than in the same period of 2002; net sales increased by

25%  and  was  LVL  70.6  million.  The  company  has been investing in

production  development - LVL 2.5 million have been invested over the 9

months  of  2003. The company has a little increased the number of jobs

and currently is employing 2874 people.
