On September 25, 2003 changes were recorded at JSC "Liepājas metalurgs"

closed  issue  shareholder  register:  Vice-president  Ilja  Segals has

became  a  holder  of  3,530,950  closed  issue shares, and Chairman of

Management  Board  Sergejs  Zaharjins  has become a holder of 4,950,083

closed  issue  shares. In addition, Sergejs Zaharjins has also become a

holder of 3,370,623 public shares.



Altogether  JSC  "Liepājas metalurgs" has 16,981,033 paid in shares, an

approximate  breakdown  between  the major shareholders is: Ilja Segals

20.79%,  Sergejs  Zaharjins  48.99%  (19.84%  closed  issue  and 29.15%

public), and Kirovs Lipmans 17% (3,000,003 public shares).
