Riga  Stock  Exchange Management Board on its meeting of July 29, 2003

resolved  to suspend trading with JSC "Jelgavas būvmateriālu kombināts"

shares on the RSE Free list.

The  decision  is  taken  due  to JSC "Jelgavas būvmateriālu kombināts"

submitted  information  that the issuer has become insolvent and due to

the provisions of Item 10.1.2 of the RSE Enforcement Note on Securities

Lists.
