In  the first six months of 2003 JSC "Ventspils nafta" has reloaded 6.5

million  tons  of  oil  and  oil products. Of this, 3.7 million tons is

diesel  oil,  1.5  million  tons  is crude oil, and 1.3 million tons is

petrol.



All  the cargos were received by rail. The physical volumes are in line

with  the management forecasts, keep stable and, in average, are over 1

million  tons each month. Moreover, crude oil started coming in by rail

only  six months ago: yet, the monthly volumes have already reached 0.3

million  tons.  In  June  over  1  million  tons  of  oil products were

reloaded, including 0.5 million tons of diesel oil, 0.3 million tons of

crude oil and 0.2 million tons of petrol.
