In  the  first  ten  months of 2002 JSC "Kaija" has earned LVL 189,122,

while  net  sales in the period amounted to LVL 9,458,204, and the cost

of  goods  sold was LVL 7,946,258. Profit increase over the same period

of 2001 is 28.94%, net sales - 9.54%, cost of goods sold - 4.91%.

In  October company profit was LVL 2,040 over net sales of LVL 842,979,

and cost of goods sold was LVL 764,450.

Compared  to  September, profit has decreased by 18.06%; it has reduced

several  times compared to October of 2001. Net sales decrease over the

previous month is 10.85%, while the cost of goods sold has decreased by

10.51%.  Compared to October of 2001, net sales have dropped by 22.54%,

and the cost of goods sold - by 18.08%.

As  of  October  31,  2002  "Kaija"  balance  sheet total was LVL 8.422

million, and equity was 3.707 million. Balance sheet total has grown by

3.34%  since  the  end  of  September,  whereas equity has decreased by

0.97%.
