In  June 2002 "Ventspils nafta" reloaded 977.1 thousand tons of oil and

oil  products,  including  522.7  thousand  tons of crude oil and 316.1

thousand  tons  of  diesel oil. In the first six months of the year the

company  has  reloaded  altogether  9.3  million  tons  of  oil and oil

products.  The  performance  fully  complies with the company forecasts

about increasing competition in the oil product reloading market in the

Baltic   region  due  to  launching  Primorsk  (Russia)  terminal  into

operation and increasing activities of Būtiņģe (Lithuania) terminal.
