Due  to  the  failure  to  meet  the deadlines for submission of Annual

Reports  for  year  2001  trading  of  six  Free  listed  companies  is

suspended:



Viesnīca  Latvija,  Grobiņas  ZV,  Rīgas  Juvelierizstrādājumu rūpnīca,

Liepājas autobusu parks, Mangaļu kuģu remonta rūpnīca, UBAK 



 RSE  Management  Board resolution is based on the RSE Enforcement Note

on  Securities  Lists; resolution on resuming trading will be passed on

case-by-case basis. Previously, Management Board has resolved to extend

the  deadline  for  submission  of 1st quarter financial statements for

Latvijas Gāze till May 15, 2002. This decision was made on basis of the

company  request  and the RSE Enforcement Note on Securities Lists. The

following  companies  should  submit  their  Annual Reports by July 31,

2002:



Latvijas  Gāze,  Grindeks,  Latvijas  Balzams,  Olainfarm,  Rīgas  kuģu

būvētava, Rīgas Transporta flote 



 As well as following Free listed companies:



Jūras medicīnas centrs, Lode, Ogre, Radiotehnika RRR, RER, Rota 



The  deadline dates are based on the RSE Enforcement Note on Securities

Lists,  which  allow  companies  that  correspond  to  two out of three

criteria  (employee  number  exceeds 250, balance sheet total exceeds 1

mln  LVL, and net turnover exceeds 2.4 mln LVL) to prepare their Annual

Reports during seven months.
