In  first  8  month  of  1999  JSC "Balta" has signed LVL 10 702 234 in

insurance  premiums,  Of this, LVL 4 659 734 were received as mandatory

third  party  motor liability insurance premiums and LVL 6 042 500 were

voluntary insurance premiums.

In  August  JSC "Balta" has signed LVL 2 219 294 in insurance premiums,

but  total insurance compensations paid out during this period were LVL

643 788.
