JSC  "Balta"  informs  that  on  the  June 28,1999 has sold 157 270 JSC

"Latva"  closed  issue shares and therefore decreased their significant

holding in JSC "Latva".

Based on above mentioned, JSC "Balta" informs that it holds 485 470 JSC

"Latva"  closed  issue  shares  and  385  000  public issue shares. JSC

"Latva" paid in share capital LVL 2 800 000.
