JSC "Balta" informs that on the June 2,1999 they have received fax from

SAMPO  ENTERPRISE  Insurance  Company  LTD., which contains information

regarding purchase of 652 000 JSC "Balta" shares.

At present SAMPO ENTERPRISE Insurance Company LTD.owns 19,6 % of shares

from JSC "Balta" paid up share capital (LVL 3 322 850).
