JSC "Rigas Komercbanka" shareholders general meeting is being postponed

from  the  December  22,  1998  to 2 pm February 18, 1999. Place of the

meeting  and  agenda  remains  the same. Blocked shares for the general

meeting will be unblocked starting December 15, 1998.
