JSC LATVIJAS HIPOTĒKU UN ZEMES BANKA ALTERS THE TITLE



Joint Stock Company Mortgage and Land Bank of Latvia (Latvijas Hipotēku un

zemes banka; hereinafter – Mortgage bank) hereby notifies that a decision on 

an amendment to the Articles of Association of Mortgage bank has been adopted 

by the meeting of shareholders of Mortgage bank held on 11 October 2004.



Pursuant to amendments made to the Law on State and Local Authority Capital 

Interest Shares and Capital Interest Companies of 20 August 2004 providing 

for insertion of the word State in the title of a state owned capital interest 

company the meeting of shareholders of Mortgage bank held on 11 October 2004 

(minutes of meeting NR 6) has adopted the decision to approve the amendments 

to the articles of incorporation of JSC Mortgage and Land Bank of Latvia by 

altering the title of Mortgage bank as follows: ‘State Joint Stock Company 

Mortgage and Land Bank of Latvia.
