Shares of Latvijas Krājbanka in the trading of the Stock Exchange



Starting from October 27 in the Free List of the Riga Stock Exchange 

the ordinary shares of the bearer of JSC Latvijas Krājbanka with the 

par value of 1 LVL will be included, beginning their trade in the trading 

system of the Riga Stock Exchange. 



The Board of JSC Latvijas Krājbanka (LKB) on September 30 of 2004 announced 

the decision to submit to the Riga Stock Exchange (RSE) the application 

about the start of quotation of 9 085 412 ordinary bearer’s shares of LKB 

in the Free List of the RSE.



“The decision to become a public joint-stock company and to quote the 

shares at the Stock Exchange meets the interests of all shareholders. The 

owners of small blocks of shares already for many years have waited that 

they could sell the shares bought for the vouchers at a market price, and 

now this moment has come. But the quotation of shares at the Stock Exchange 

in the same extent meets also the interests of larger shareholders,” 

this is the commentary about the significant event by Andris Nātriņš, 

President of JSC Latvijas Krājbanka.



  Evaluating the potential attractiveness of shares in the market, 

A. Nātriņš stressed that there existed many conditions so that the shares 

of Krājbanka would be assessed as an attractive object of investment. 

Krājbanka is a company that earns profit, a financial institution with 

80 years of experience in the financial market, one of the few network 

banks of Latvia with 75 servicing locations in Latvia, the Bank has a 

modern infrastructure, well-developed offer of banking products, 

well-arranged banking processes (ISO Certificate). Krājbanka in the 

market of private persons in Latvia, taking as the baseline the number 

of clients, number of issued payment cards and term deposits of the 

private persons – residents, have a considerable market share.
