RSE requests additional information from LASCO about cancellation of EGM



Riga Stock Exchange on February 10, 2005 received information from JSC “Latvijas Kuģniecība” 

that the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, scheduled for February 11, 2005, is 

cancelled. According to the provisions of the Law on Financial Instruments market, the RSE made 

the information public without delay.  



JSC “Latvijas Kuģniecība” says in its notice that the decision to cancel the meeting was taken 

by Supervisory Board in its opinion issued on February 9, 2005. 



Considering the above and pursuant to item 20.2.2 of the RSE listing and disclosure rules, the 

RSE requests that the company provide the said Supervisory Board opinion, as well as complete 

minutes of the Supervisory Board meeting of February 9, 2005. The information has to be disclosed 

without delay, however, not later than the end of business day of February 10, 2005.
