JSC “Kurzemes atslēga 1” information about export to the Ukraine



Following a news item on news agency  BNS website, the company comments that in 2004 

sales to the Ukraine amounted to LVL 1,799,600, or 11% to total sales. In 2005 there 

have been no sales in this market so far. The reason is the import tax for Latvia (up 

to 20% in our case). Also, the price of metal has increased rapidly: in Latvia by ~80% 

(between 20% and 40% in other European countries.).
