JSC „Tosmares kuģubūvētava” to consolidate its position in the vessel repair market



In 2005 JSC „Tosmares kuģubūvētava” intends to retain the same business volume as in the 

previous year, when net sales was LVL 4,371,899, and profit was LVL 307,236. In May the 

company will finalize building two ferries – this is the first time that a Latvian company 

has built a ferry. 

In 2005 the company will sell a half of its land plot and several buildings to JSC „Liepājas 

metalurgs”. The company is planning investments LVL 200,00 worth.  The company is in the 

negotiation process with Ministry of Defense about building warships. The AGM approved Annual 

Report of 2004, and resolved to use the profit for offsetting the losses of the previous years.
