PRELIMINARY RESULTS OF THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2000



On 2 May 2000, the Board of AB Klaipėdos Baldai approved:

1. Total amount of AB Klaipėdos Baldai sums payable and liabilities

   (as of 31 March 2000) exceeds 50% of the own capital.

2. The preliminary profit for the first quarter of 2000 made up LTL 854823.
