LISCO ADDRESSED NSEL BOARD REGARDING SUSPENSION OF TRADING



Lietuvos Juru Laivininkyste AB informed that at the sitting of

the Management Board of LISCO as of 28 May 2001 it was decided

to address the Management Board of the National Stock Exchange

of Lithuania with the inquiry to suspend trading in LISCO shares

from 25 June 2001. The request to suspend trading is based on

preparations for statutory general shareholders’ meetings of

LISCO BALTIC SERVICE AB and LIETUVOS JURU LAIVININKYSTE AB

which will be held on 27 June 2001. The Management Board

of the NSEL will consider this inquiry on 4 June 2001.
