AB VILNIUS VINGIS SALES FOR THE 1ST QUARTER



Sales volumes of AB Vilniaus Vingis reached LTL 12.8m in June 2002. For the six

months of this year, the company’s sales constituted LTL 77m, which is by 16.9%

more than during the same period in 2001. Such an increase was reached due to

the rise of the company’s exports by 20.3% (LTL 8.7m). The company sold more of

its production to Germany (LTL 3.3m) and to England (LTL 5.3m).

The total volume of exports reached 67.5% during the six months of this year.

During the first half of 2001, this figure stood at 65.2%.

This year the sales of the production to the Lithuanian consumers made LTL

25.3m, which is by 10.5% (LTL 2.4m) more than during the first half of 2001.
