SALES OF THE PRODUCTION OF VILNIAUS VINGIS AB

Sales of the production of Vilniaus Vingis AB during February 2003 amounted to

LTL 12.1 million, which was LTL 0.8 million (7.1 %) more than during the same

period last year.  Total sales of the production during the two months of this

year were by  LTL 23.2 million (1.3 %) greater than during the corresponding

period in 2002. This year the company’s exports amounted to LTL 17.4 million,

which, if compared to the corresponding period last year, shows an increase by

LTL 1.8 million (11.5 %). Sales to England increased by LTL 1.3 million, to

Hungary – by LTL 3.6 million, to Spain – by LTL 0.5 million.

Consumers of the CIS countries bought production for a total of LTL 0.7

million, which was LTL 0.5 million less than during January-February last

year. 

This year the level of exported production is 75.1 % (this ration in

January-February 2002 stood at 68.3 %).
