PRELIMINARY RESULT OF THE ACCOUNTING PERIOD ACTIVITY

2002 profit of LISCO BALTIC SERVICE AB amounted to LTL 

145 767 thousand and the activity result is a loss of LTL 475  thousand.

The planned result was not achieved due to:

- negative effect of the currency rates, pointed out in the previous

announcements of the company;

- other reasons, the effect of which on the activity results were particularly

felt in the 4th quarter of  2002;

- higher fuel prices, unplanned expenses on reconstruction and the negative

result of the subsidiaries’ operation.
