Regarding the execution of the first option according to the Investment Contract

of June 18, 2002



On the basis of information provided by the Ministry of Economy, Yukos Finance

B.V., the shareholder of Mazeikiu nafta AB(hereinafter referred to as the

Company), in compliance with the provisions of the Investment

Contract of June 18, 2002, the parties to which currently are Yukos OAO Oil

Corporation, Yukos Finance B.V., the Company and the Government of the Republic

of Lithuania, has notified the Ministry of Economy in writing

concerning the execution of the first option (the acquisition of the newly

emitted share issue of the Company).
