The preliminary non-audited result of operation of Kauno Energija AB for the

reporting period (ended December 31, 2004) is a profit of LTL 14 436 431.00. At

the end of the reporting period (Dec.31, 2004) the financial leverage of the

company, expressed by the ratio of debt-to-equity, grew from 1.50 to 1.56 over

the period from the end of 2003 till the end of the reporting period.
