JSC "Latvijas kuģniecība" sells its subsidiary SIA "Transporta bāze"



JSC Latvijas kuģniecība (Latvian Shipping Company – LASCO) hereby informs 

that on September 8, 2005, an agreement was signed on the sale of 

JSC Latvijas kuģniecība 100% subsidiary SIA Transporta bāze. 



The resolution on the sale of SIA Transporta bāze has been passed by LASCO 

Board of Directors based on the Company’s Strategic Plan 2003-2010 providing 

for the gradual termination of all activities not related to the Company’s 

core business - transportation of cargoes by sea.



SIA Transporta bāze was founded to perform maintenance of JSC Latvijas 

kuģniecība real estate.
