JSC „Olainfarm” receives year 2004 version of environment management standard ISO 14001 certificate 



On Septemebr 22nd of the present year in the new conference hall of 

JSC „Olainfarm” in the festive environment representative of the 

international auditor company Bureau Veritas Quality International presented 

the certificate to the management of the company. This certificate confirms 

that environmental management at the company corresponds to the newest 

international ISO 14001:2004 standard. Representatives of Olaine and Olaine 

parish municipalities as well as representatives of different NGO’s have been 

invited to take part in the ceremony.



JSC „Olainfarm” has been one of the first companies in Latvia which through 

arranging environmental management system received certificate ISO 14001:1996 

in year 2000. Environmental management system is maintained all the time and 

corresponding audites are carried out regularly. All the previous audits 

carried out in the company have had positive results. On June 16th, 2005, one 

of the first companies in Latvia, the environmental management system of 

JSC „Olainfarm” has been audited for correspondence to new version of 

ISO 14001:2004.



Arrangements of environmental management in accordance with certification 

requirements despite a number of chemicals used in manufacturing allows the 

company to comply with requirements of all applicable environmental protection 

normative acts.
