In the nine months of 2005, JSC Latvijas Krājbanka has worked with a profit of 

2.019 million lats, which is 3.1 times more than in the respective period last year.

The amount of gross assets of Krājbanka was 228.15 million lats at 30 September 

this year, which is by 5.5% more than at the end of the year 2004 and by 16.6 % 

more than at 30 September 2004. At 30 September 2005, the assets of JSC Latvijas 

Krājbanka were equal to 2.3% of the Latvian banking sector’s total assets. 



The amount of loans issued by JSC Latvijas Krājbanka was 147.535 million lats as

 at the end of September 2005. The credit portfolio of the Bank has grown by 

18.6% as compared with the beginning of the year. At 30 September 2005, the loans 

issued by Krājbanka were equal to 2.4% of the Latvian banking sector’s total 

issued loans. 



As at 30 September of this year, JSC Latvijas Krājbanka had attracted 183.958 

million lats in deposits, which is by 16.4% more than at 31 December 2004. At 

30 September 2005, the deposits attracted by the Bank were equal to 3.2% of the 

total amount of deposits in Latvian banks.



As at the end of September this year, the capital and reserves of JSC Latvijas 

Krājbanka were 15.012 million lats, which is by 16.1% more than at the beginning 

of the year. 



As at the end of September, JSC Latvijas Krājbanka was the 11th largest Latvian 

bank according to the amount of its assets. Its largest shareholder is the 

Lithuanian bank Snoras (83.01%).
