JSC „Olainfarm” in Madrid – a member of the international exhibition



It has been a fifteenth time of yearly international chemical pharmaceutical 

exhibition CPhI Worldwide held on 1-3 of November. This time it was held in 

Madrid. 

JSC „Olainfarm” has taken part in this exhibition for the seventh time. On the 

first year the company has participated merely as a visitor. But for the last six 

years JSC „Olainfarm” has had its own exhibition stand where all the necessary 

information about the company can be obtained from both exhibition aids and leading

 professionals of the company. JSC „Olainfarm” has been the only pharmaceutical 

company from all the Baltic states participating in the exhibition with its own 

stand.

This year the exhibition has taken place in Madrid at the magnificent exhibition 

complex Feria de Madrid. More then 20 000 companies from 110 countries from all 

regions of the world have taken part in the exhibition. The complex includes 5 halls,

 from which four have been occupied by manufacturers of chemical pharmaceutical 

products and one by ICSE (International Contract Services Expo) exhibition. This year 

for the first time technical equipment for pharmaceutical manufacturing has been 

presented. A total number of visitors to the exhibition is being yet appraised, but 

more then 20 000 professionals in the field have visited the exhibition last year. 

Leading professionals from research and development and commercial department have 

represented JSC „Olainfarm” at the exhibition. During three days some important 

negotiations and meetings with existing and possible partners went on non-stop. The 

stand of the company has without a break provided information to all interested,

 potential partners and clients. An interest to the offers of JSC „Olainfarm” has been

 shown by many international companies from west as well as east. The most popular 

international companies JSC „Olainfarm” is planning to start cooperation with 

(producing and supply of chemical half-products) are Sanofi – Aventis, Bayer, Teva, 

Japanchem, Dr. Reddy’s, Glaxo.

Thus, exhibitions are the most efficient way of cooperation in the international scene,

 because wider and most actual information is concentrated in one place. JSC „Olainfarm” 

has once again found that participation with its own stand at such international

 exhibition allows to use the maximum of the possibilities: sign contracts, have 

negotiations face to face, meet cooperation partners as well as gain a lot of new 

information. The exhibition has an information system set up which allowed finding

 necessary companies and their offers. Regular participation at the exhibition not

 only allows gaining new cooperation partners and sharing experience among the 

professionals in the field, but also encourages and strengthens recognition of 

JSC „Olainfarm” on the international level. Thus the company secures possibilities

 of stable development on the international market of chemical pharmaceutical 

manufacturing.
