JSC “Latvijas Gaze” information about unaudited financial report of the first half of 2005



Joint Stock Company "Latvijas Gaze" informs that the profit in the nine 

months of 2005 reached 7,1 mio LVL (10,1 mio EUR) that is by 20 % or 1,77 

mio LVL (3,1 mio EUR) less than in the corresponding period of 2004. In 

nine months of 2005 total income from natural gas sales and other services 

of basic operations reached 88 mio LVL (125,25 mio EUR) that is by 6,3 % or 

5,2 mio LVL (1,8 mio EUR) more than in the corresponding period of 2004. 

The volume of gas sold was 1,123 billion m3 that is by 2 % more than in the 

nine months of 2004. Decrease in the profit of JSC “Latvijas Gazes” during 

this period relates to changes in gas purchase and sales prices during 2005.
