The Vice-president of EKRANAS JSC Aydin Giz Was Elected to the Board of Directors 

of the European Electronic Component Manufacturers Association



After having been elected President of the EDIA (European Display Industries Association) 

September 6th, 2005, vice-president of EKRANAS Aydin GIZ was elected on December 13th 

to the board of directors of the EECA (European Electronic Component Manufacturers 

Association) which include four big associations of the European electronic sector. 

 

EECA represents in the European Union 226000 employments and 50 billion Euro turnovers.

EECA is an association which includes all the intercommunity electronic industry and acts 

on behalf of the industry at the institutions of the European community.

 

The vice-president of EKRANAS, Aydin GIZ, have declared on the occasion of his election:  

“My election as president of the EDIA and as member to the board of directors of the EECA 

proves that EKRANAS JSC is a big company respected by all the European industry and flagship

Lithuanian industry”.



“I dedicate my election first of all to all the workers of EKRANAS, to the inhabitants of 

Panevezys, in the Lithuania and to everyone who helps us to cross this difficult period 

which, I think, is behind us.I thank quite specially the Lithuanian authorities and the 

financial institutions which continue to support us.

Be sure that my only purpose and my only fights are the success of EKRANAS, the preservation 

of jobs and the economic stability of the region of Panevezys.

All the economic indications show us that we are right to believe in the success of EKRANAS 

and to continue to beat us against the unfair competition and any other errors of appreciation

to EKRANAS.

To believe and undertake in this direction without waiting for any reward is the first step 

towards the success.

My two new missions give me a very big responsibility towards the European industry of which 

Lithuania is part.

I shall do everything I can to make a success of my mission and protect the electronic industry

in Lithuania and in all the European community”, - said A.Giz.
