42 new funds joined the Baltic Fund Center

From June 1, 2006, five new fund management companies along with 42 investment funds joined the Baltic Fund Center, which is managed by Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius stock exchanges.

Out of 42 recently added funds 33 investment funds are registered in Luxembourg, 2 in Estonia, 5 in Lithuania and 2 in Latvia. Five new management companies are:

  • BTB Asset Management
  • BVP Investiciju Valdymas UAB
  • SEB Fund Management S.A.
  • SEB VB Investiciju Valdymas UAB
  • World Investment Opportunities Funds (SICAV) (local distributor SFM Group)

All together 113 funds from 18 management companies have joined the Fund Center – 23 funds originate from Estonia, 15 from Latvia, 15 from Lithuania, 27 from Finland and 33 from Luxembourg.

The funds of the Baltic Fund Center divided by the fund’s country of origin are as follows:

  • Estonia 20%
  • Latvia 13%
  • Lithuania 13%
  • Luxembourg 29%
  • Finland 24%

The Baltic Fund Center is a user-friendly tool for investors where it is easy to follow and compare different funds with each other. Funds can join the Baltic Fund Center by making a listing agreement or information distribution agreement with any of the Baltic stock exchanges.
