AB LESTO shares listed on the NASDAQ OMX Vilnius Main List

Vilnius, January 17, 2011 – NASDAQ OMX Vilnius announced that AB LESTO shares (ticker: LES1L) today starts trading on the Main List of NASDAQ OMX Vilnius.

AB LESTO was established on December 27, 2010 as the result of merger following the conditions of reorganization of public limited liability company Rytų Skirstomieji Tinklai AB and public limited liability company VST AB. After reorganization Rytų Skirstomieji Tinklai AB and VST AB finished their activities as legal entities and AB LESTO took over the assets, rights and obligations.

“It will be one of the largest companies listed on the NASDAQ OMX Baltic stock exchanges. The company has nearly 8,000 minority investors, and as of tomorrow its shares will be included into the Baltic Benchmark index (OMXBB) which will facilitate greater interest of institutional investors. There is no doubt that such companies as LESTO are very welcome on the capital market as they pose interesting investment opportunities for both local and foreign investors,” – said Arminta Saladziene, Chairman of the NASDAQ OMX Vilnius Management Board.

According to him AB LESTO will try to satisfy the needs of electricity consumers and investors by increasing the value of the company. “The Company activities will be directed towards long-term strategic aspects – the increase of electricity power distribution network and Company management efficiency, activity expenditure reduction. Better projected investment, more expedient management of our property will increase the value of the Company shares”, – said the manager of LESTO.
As of January 17, 2011, the Baltic Main List will contain 37 companies, including 18 issuers from Lithuania.
