Changes in the Management of Vilnius Stock Exchange

Today, the Supervisory Board of the Vilnius Stock Exchange (VSE) formed a new Management Board of VSE. Arminta Saladziene was elected Chairman of the Management Board. On January 1, 2007 Arminta Saladziene will also succeed Dalia Jasulaityte as President of VSE. Dalia Jasulaityte will serve as Deputy to the President of Baltic Market business unit at OMX, as of January 1 2007.

“I am very happy to appoint Dalia Jasulaityte to the position as my deputy and Arminta Saladziene to the position as President of the Vilnius Stock Exchange. Dalia and Arminta both have thorough competence and long experience of the securities business and the appointments are a natural choice to strengthen our Baltic operation. Dalia’s main focus will be on new initiatives and enhanced cooperation within the Baltic market, while Arminta will take on the leadership of our organization in Vilnius. Both Dalia and Arminta will remain in the Baltic Management Team,” said Johan Rudén, President of the Baltic Market business unit at OMX.

Dalia Jasulaityte (47), with VSE since 1992, served as Chairman and President of the VSE for over two years. During this time VSE has been successfully integrated in OMX, trading has been moved to a joint Nordic Baltic system and new products and services have been launched. As a member of the Baltic Management Team, Dalia has greatly contributed to a number of strategic initiatives in developing the Baltic securities market.

“I am very much looking forward to my new assignment as deputy President of the Baltic Market. Increased international focus as well as further integration of the Baltic market is on my agenda for next year. Along the strategic and continuous development of the Baltic market, I will also focus on the elaboration and execution of new business initiatives,” said Dalia Jasulaityte.

Arminta Saladziene (32), current member of VSE’s Management Board and Head of Market Development, has been with VSE since 1995. In March 2005 Arminta also became a member of the Baltic Management Team at OMX’s Baltic Market. Arminta Saladziene has been in charge of a number of strategic cross-border development projects in the Baltic Market, including the successful implementation of the common OMX trading platform in Lithuania as well as launch of the new Baltic index family.

“I consider it a very stimulating challenge to take on the lead of VSE. My main focus next year will be in taking OMX’s strategy of Nordic Baltic market integration forward in Lithuania for the benefit of the listed companies, market participants and investors. By expanding our offering and building a single Baltic market, we will contribute to the efficiency and liquidity of the Lithuanian securities market. In this challenge I will be supported by a strong team of VSE professionals. I believe that innovation, service excellence and close co-operation with our stakeholders will be key to our success,” said Arminta Saladziene.

As of November 30, a new Management Board of VSE consists of Arminta Saladziene, Saulius Malinauskas, Vidmantas Drobelis, and Algimantas Romeika. Saulius Malinauskas, Head of Market Services Department, is elected Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.
