Hipotēku banka became a member in Vilnius and Tallinn stock exchanges

The management boards of the Vilnius and Tallinn stock exchanges approved the membership application and granted membership to Latvijas Hipotēku un zemes banka as of June 19, 2006. Being already a member at the Riga Stock Exchange, the bank has become 11th pan-Baltic member.

“Latvijas Hipotēku un zemes banka” is one of the leading banks in the Latvian securities market. The bank offers various transactions on the financial market and foreign exchange operations. “Latvijas Hipotēku un zemes banka” is an active player both in debt securities and stock market. During recent years, the bank has increased the volume of its issued bonds (as of today, the bank has listed 11 mortgage bond issues) and actively participated in co-organizing of debt securities auctions of other issuers.

Latvijas Hipotēku un zemes banka will trade on the Baltic exchanges under the trading code HIP.
The Baltic exchanges have altogether 40 members.
