The specific purpose of the co-operation is introducing the services offered to the enterprises and developing new services. Also, different possibilities of including capital will be introduced to entrepreneurs on joint seminars and training sessions. As a specific step, KredEx is ready to provide surety for companies’ bridge financing on the alternative market by covering the initial costs (e.g. compiling the prospects, involving the consultants etc.) connected with the start of trading of First North.
According to the head of KredEx, Mr. Andrus Treier, the financing possibilities of companies’ activities are currently limited and the risks in economics have increased. At the same time there are many enterprises which are developing their organization in order to be ready for the following growth period in a renewed situation.
“Entering the stock exchange or the alternative market can be one of the logical possibilities for enterprises who include additional resources with the help of KredEx to develop their business activities at this time. So it is essential to co-operate and find actively new opportunities to bring companies and investors together,” said Mr. Treier.
“In order to develop entrepreneurship continuously, it is necessary to have access to different financing possibilities and the companies should be aware of the alternatives, starting with the grants and guarantees and ending with the public capital market. We are happy to be in co-operation with KredEx for the sake of increasing the compatibility of Estonian enterprises,” said Mr. Kalle Viks, the head of the market services division of NASDAQ OMX Tallinn Stock Exchange.
