"Latu rezerves fonds" fund units to be traded on the RSE

RSE Management Board has resolved to list open-end investment fund “Latu rezerves fonds” units on the RSE Investment Fund list and launch trading starting with April 13, 2004.

The asset management company for the fund is “Optimus fondi”, and “Latvijas Unibanka” is the custodian bank. “Latu rezerves fonds” fund units are lat-denominated. The fund may invest in bonds issued and guaranteed by central and local governments and Central banks, and in bonds issued by financial institutions or corporations. The fund may also invest in term deposits and deposit certificates at banks, and in investment funds.

Currently already eight funds are listed on the RSE – seven open-end and one closed-end. Two of the funds can be traded as well.
