Riga Stock Exchange member trading activity in 2005

“Suprema Securities” with 33.71% of total trading turnover has been the most active trading member of the Riga Stock Exchange in 2005; “Hansabanka” with 22.62% is runner-up, followed by “SEB Latvijas Unibanka” with 15.23%.

Top 3 trading members in equity market are exactly the same: “Suprema Securities” has generated 39.09% of equity trading volume, “Hansabanka” 23.87%, and “SEB Latvijas Unibanka” 11.42%. “SEB Latvijas Unibanka” is the trading leader in bond market (56.34%), leaving “SEB Eesti Ühispank” (12.47%) and “Latvijas Hipotēku un zemes banka” (8.93%) far behind.

“Suprema” (consolidated) has been the trading activity leader in the Baltic market, building 43.68% of total turnover; “Hansabank” group share is 36.23%. The same members have been the most active ones in the Baltic equity market as well: “Suprema” and “Hansabank” group have contributed 48.95% and 39.01% of equity turnover respectively. “SEB” (consolidated) and “Bankas Snoras” (23.75% and 22.11% respectively) have been the most active trading members in the Baltic bond market.
