Rytu skirstomieji tinklai AB shares to be listed on the Main List of the Vilnius Stock Exchange

From May 2, 2007, shares of Rytu skirstomieji tinklai AB will be admitted to the Vilnius Stock Exchange (VSE) Main List. Such a decision was made at the VSE Management Board meeting on April 20, 2007.

„The new entrant to the Main List – Rytu skirstomieji tinklai AB with more than 6000 shareholders, currently is one of the biggest among the companies listed on the OMX Baltic stock exchanges. Investors had enough time to get acquainted with the company as its shares were traded on the VSE I-list for about 5 years now,” said Arminta Saladziene, Chairman of the VSE Management Board.

Rytu skirstomieji tinklai AB distributes and supplies electricity to 728 thousand customers in the Eastern part of Lithuania.

As Of March 31, 2007, the company’s market capitalization stood at LTL 1,748,037 thousand (EUR 506,266 thousand). The authorized capital of the company is LTL 492,405 thousand (EUR 142,610 thousand), which consists of 492,404,653 ordinary registered shares at LTL 1 par (EUR 0.29). In 2006 and 2005, the net profit of the company made LTL 24,543 thousand (EUR 7,108 thousand) and LTL 16,987 thousand (EUR 4,920 thousand), accordingly.

Main shareholders of Rytu skirstomieji tinklai AB are the State, controlling 71,35 percent of share capital, with the company E.ON Energie AG holding 20,28 percent of share capital, rest of the shares (8,37 percent) is owned by private shareholders.
