„As of today, 2006, we will have the second company from the Lithuanian financial sector on the Main List of the Vilnius Stock Exchange as well as on the Baltic Main List. The shares of Siauliu bankas AB are included into our new OMX Baltic Benchmark index, the main Baltic market indicator consisting of the largest and most traded Baltic stocks. Active trading in bank’s shares, large market value and sufficient number of shares in free float paved the way for Siauliu bankas to this index,” said Arminta Saladziene, Chairman of the VSE Management Board.

“We are of the opinion that the issuer has to take care of its shares and make them attractive applying particular actions, – said Algirdas Butkus, Chairman of the Bank’s Board. – At the moment we are not planning to change our strategy of issuing shares from the bank’s own funds and increasing the bank’s authorized capital by additional contributions when the shares are disseminated to the shareholders at a lower price. We have noticed that a good three-year experience is started to be applied by other banks of Lithuania”.
