COMMENTARY TO H1 1999 FINANCIAL RESULTS

The H1 1999 net sales of Eesti Näituste AS amounted to 23.133
million
EEK, which accounts for 60.9% of 1999 net turnover forecast.
Compared
to the respective period in 1998, net turnover has decreased by
14.8%.

The 3rd international fair ESTONIA BUILDS was larger than all
similar
fairs organized so far by both number of participating companies as
well as net turnover.

Eesti Näituste AS also initiated a new project, the DENTAL FAIR.
Most
of the Estonian companies selling dental equipment or providing
dental services were represented in the fair.

The area of exhibition and number of participating companies in
triple fair ENEREX*LAMP*ELCOMATIC increased.

- several traditional fairs had less visitors than initially
projected - ELTEX (organized by OÜ Eltevik), TEEVIIT*BOOK FAIR
(Ministry of Education); HORECA BALTIC*VINORUM*SHOP BALTIC (Expo
Balticum OÜ), COMPUTER (Association of Estonian Computer
Companies),
MAINTENANCE (Finnish company Expomark OY);

- due to low interest, the agricultural equipment fair AGROTEC
(organizer OÜ Fragmentor) was cancelled.

Proceeding from the cyclical nature of international automobile and
technical equipment fair MOTOREX in Tallinn, MOTOREX `99 had less
exhibitions than in 1998, when the fair was also recommended by the
Organization of International Car Producers (OICA).

Proceeding from consolidation of security companies and market
segmentation, the number of participating companies in the fair
SECURITY was lower than last year.

As IDEAL HOME and TALLINN FURNITURE AND INTERIOR DECORATION fairs
will be combined in spring 2000, the area of exhibition and number
of
participating companies in IDEAL HOME fair of this spring
decreased.

Unaudited H1 1999 net profit figure of Eesti Näituste AS amounted
to
5.921 million EEK, which is 24.9% less than during the same period
last year.
