INCREASE OF LATVIAN HANSABANKA'S SHARE CAPITAL

 

 

The council of Hansabanka - Hansabank's Latvian subsidiary, decided to 

convene an extraordinary shareholders' meeting on November 24, 1999 and 

to make a proposal to increase bank's shareholders' equity by LVL 6 

million through the issuance of 6 million new shared with a face value 

LVL 1 per share to the current shareholders. The issue is fully underwritten 

by Hansabank.

At the end of September Hansabanka's share capital amounted to LVL 14.5 

million and total shareholders' equity amounted to LVL 11.7 million.
