Hüvitusfond: Interest rates for IX-series bonds

INTERESTS FOR IX-SERIES BONDS

Interest rate paid to the holders of Hüvitusfond IX-series bonds is
14.019% or 14.019 EEK per bond. Hüvitusfond will make interest payments
to the bondholders in total amount of 6.449 million EEK. The interest
payments on Hüvitusfond bonds are exempt from income tax.

The basis for interest rate paid to the holders of IX-series bonds is
inter-bank money market’s 3 months Talibor, plus 1.5% fixed interest
rate. Talibor is fixed by Hüvitusfond 4 times a year, at the end of
each quarter. The interest rate paid for 13 accounting days of Q2 1998
is 11%, for Q3 1998 18.25% and for Q4 1998 19.63%. The interest rate
paid for Q1 1999 is 8.95%. The interest rate of 8.95%, which was
approved for Q1 1999, will also be applied for 77 accounting days of Q2
1999.

Interest will be paid to the investors holding the respective bonds as
of the end of the day of June 16, according to the data of the
securities register of the Estonian Central Depository for Securities.
The interest payment will be transferred to the accounts once a year on
June 18, or the first banking day following that date.
The maturity date of IX-series bonds is June 18, 2002. Hüvitusfond will
then buy back the IX-series bonds at nominal value, i.e. EEK 100 per
bond.
