COMMENTARY TO THE ASA KINDLUSTUS AS FINANCIAL RESULTS OF 12/98

 

The volume of the insurance premiums collected by ASA 

Kindlustus AS during the last year was 123.72 million EEK, of 

which the premiums collected in December accounted for 9.485 

million EEK. This is 4% higher than the respective figure of 

December 1997. The total amount of premiums collected during 

the last year decreased by 11%. The claims paid totaled 16.7 

million EEK in December, and 71.1 million EEK during the year 

of 1998.

 

The volumes of the premiums collected and claims paid by lines 

of insurance are presented in the following table:
