FINANCIAL RESULTS 12/98

 

During the last year, Leks Kindlustus collected insurance 

premiums a total of 189.7 million EEK, which is about one 

third more than in 1997. The claims were paid by Leks 

Kindlustus during the year in the amount of 111.9 million EEK.

In December 1998, Leks Kindlustus collected premiums in the 

amount of 14.4 million EEK, which is 12 % less than during the 

same period 1997. The claims were paid in December 1998 in the 

amount of 8.7 million EEK.

Leks Kindlustus has collected the most insurance premiums this 

year in the fields of corporate property insurance and motor 

TPL insurance. Among the most substantial insurance lines, the 

volume of private property insurance increased the most, 36%.

Leks Kindlustus and Leks Elukindlustus, the subsidiaries of 

Leks Grupp, collected the insurance premiums during the year 

1998 in the amount of little above 203 million EEK, which is 

32% more than during 1997.
