COMMENTARY TO HANSABANK’S BALANCE SHEET TO BE PUBLISHED BY THE 

BANK OF ESTONIA TODAY

 

As a commentary to the balance sheet (as at 31.12.98) of 

Hansapank published today by the Bank of Estonia we would like 

to say that this is a preliminary balance sheet, which may 

change significantly due to the year-end adjustments. These 

changes affect first and foremost the income statement and the 

financial result of the year.

Due to the above mentioned reasons the preliminary balance 

sheet does not reflect properly Hansapank’s financial situation 

and it is not adequate to be used for evaluating Hansapank’s 

share price.

 

Hansapank will publish the 1998 audited financial results on 

March 10, 1999.
